Laminated Glass Production Line

Laminated Glass is produced by fusing two or more glass plates under heat and pressure with the help of PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) transparent binder layers. Due to its resistance to glass scattering after breakage and to the passage of objects, it is a good solution as a security glass because it has a widespread potential for use in places where security problems such as human health, theft and attack are expected.

Laminated Glass does not change the transparency and transmittance properties of normal glass, because the optical properties of the interlayers used and the optical properties of the glass are close to each other.

Laminated Glass is also a useful product with its contribution to noise insulation and low UV transmittance.

Laminated Glass is produced with colored, colorless polyvinyl butyral (PVB); colored, colorless and reflective glass combinations. In addition, laminated glass can be produced with tempered glass combinations if necessary, as well as within insulation units.

In our factory, with AKARMAK autoclave and BEST MAKINA laminating line, 2500*6000 max size tempered, grinded or untreated laminates are produced in desired thicknesses.
