Şişecam Colorless Float Glass can be used as safety and security glasses, heat control glasses, solar control glasses, noise control glasses, heat and solar control glasses, decoration glasses by applying secondary processes such as edge processing, bending, tempering, partial tempering, lamination, coating, double glazing, mirroring.

Thanks to the functions gained to Şişecam Colorless Float Glass through secondary processes, it is used in many sectors such as construction, decoration, automotive, white goods, agriculture and energy.

 Düzcam (Float cam), cam eriyiğinin erimiş kalay üzerinde yüzdürülmesi yöntemiyle elde edilir.

Düzcam Üretimi

Float teknolojisiyle düzcam üretimi aşağıdaki gibi gerçekleştirilir:

Kum, soda, kireçtaşı başta olmak üzere, belirli özellik ve miktardaki hammaddelerin karışımı olan cam harmanı, fırında yaklaşık 1600°C’de eritilir. Cam eriyiği yaklaşık 1100°’de fırından eriyik kalay havuzuna akıtılır ve camın, kalay üzerinde yüzdürülmesi suretiyle, iki yüzünün hatasız ve birbirine paralel olması sağlanır, aynı zamanda camın kalınlığı ve şerit genişliği oluşturulur. Kalay havuzundan kesintisiz bir şekilde çıkan cam şeridin sıcaklığı kontrollü olarak düşürülerek soğutma bölümünde camın bünyesindeki gerilimler giderilir. Bunu takiben cam, kesme hattında istenilen ebatlarda kesilerek paket halinde toplanır, sevke hazır hale getirilir.

Float cam, mimari ve otomotiv amaçlı cam kullanımında temel üründür ve üretim hattından çıktığı şekliyle kullanılabildiği gibi, temel özelliklerinin geliştirilmesi amacıyla laminasyon, temperleme, kaplama, aynalama gibi farklı işlemlerden geçirildikten sonra da kullanıma sunulabilir. Bu şekilde; ihtiyaca uygun olarak, ısı ve ses yalıtımı, güneş kontrolü sağlayan, darbelere dayanıklı, güvenli ve dekoratif bir malzemeye dönüştürülür.

"Daylight" and "Solar Energy" values were calculated in the "TNO Science and Industry" - WIS 3.01 package program using spectral data measured in the laboratory in accordance with EN 410 standard.

The U value, which is the coefficient of thermal conductivity, was calculated with the WIS 3.01 program in accordance with EN 673 standard. The emissivity values used in the U value calculation were measured in the laboratory in accordance with EN 673 (Annex A) and EN 12898.

The risk of thermal breakage may arise due to factors such as exposure to partial solar radiation along the surfaces of the glass, temperature differences between day and night, heat absorption coefficients of the glass or joinery types. Daylight Transmittance: It is the percentage of light incident on the glass that passes through the glass.

Daylight Reflectance (exterior): The percentage of light incident on the glass that is reflected back by the glass.

Solar Total Transmittance: It is the percentage of the total solar energy incident on the glass that penetrates. A lower solar total transmittance value means better solar control.

Shading Coefficient: Total transmittance of solar energy compared to 3 mm colorless glass. Lower shading coefficient means better solar control.

Heat Transmission Coefficient: It is a measure of thermal insulation in glass. A lower U-value means better thermal insulation, less heating costs and more winter comfort.
