Frosted glass production is based on the principle that after the melted glass reaches the appropriate temperature and viscosity value in the furnace, it flows out of the furnace and is passed between two metal rollers, giving the desired thickness and pattern during this process.
Frosted glass, which is produced by flowing the glass melt between two rollers, one of which is patterned, is used for decorative purposes as well as providing input to the solar energy systems (solar panels and solar collectors) sector by being produced as solar energy glass with low iron raw materials.
The depth and texture of the patterns determine the light and image transmittance of the frosted glass.
